Travel Protection Plan - General information about the Insurers The Travel Protection Plan has been arranged by the Travel Trust Association Ltd and Premier Vacations & Conferencing Ltd. who are independent intermediaries for selling general insurance. The insurance is provided by AIG Europe (UK) Ltd, general agents for New Hampshire Insurance Company, who are members of the Association of British Insurers and the Insurance Ombudsman Bureau. Fidelity Insurance - Stand Alone Safe Seat Plan Every booking made to a TTA member is covered by the Travel Protection Plan whether it is for transport, accommodation, entertainment or recreation. The Travel Protection Plan involves two aspects; firstly the Trust Account operated for your benefit. The money can only be released from the Trust to pay for the services you have booked. Secondly there is further protection from insurance cover provided by the Safe Seat Plan, if your money is not in the Trust Account. It will reimburse the loss of any amount paid to the Travel Agent for your booking up to a maximum any one passenger of £11,000. So if you have paid £2,000 the policy will reimburse the loss of the £2,000, where it is not available for you from the Trust Account. Travel Protection Plan - Annual Multi Trip IMPORTANT NOTES Duration is from date of issue for one year. No single trip may last longer than 31 days and includes 21 days of winter sports per policy per year. Children under the age of 2 years on the date of travel are covered free on a Family Policy only. Children must be between the ages of 2 and 16 on the date of travel in order to qualify.
